Flora AI

Bloomfilter's Flora AI module centers on an agentic assistant embedded in the Bloomfilter platform that connects to development tools like Jira, GitHub, and Azure DevOps to deliver real-time, natural language insights about software delivery performance, risks, and process health offering artifact analysis, instant risk scoring, deep research, and an Agent Mode that lets users generate interactive charts and actionable insights through plain-language conversation rather than manual dashboard navigation.

Flora AI Overview

Bloomfilter’s Flora AI is an agentic AI assistant embedded within the Bloomfilter platform that helps organizations understand and optimize their software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agentic processes.

What is Flora AI?

Built on Bloomfilter’s Process Intelligence Platform, Flora analyzes data from across your development ecosystem—such as Jira, GitHub, and Azure DevOps—to generate clear, actionable insights about how work actually gets done.

Instead of requiring manual analysis or static reports, Flora allows users to ask questions in natural language and receive intelligent, context-aware answers about delivery performance, risks, and process health.

Why Flora AI is Valuable?

Flora AI helps organizations make faster, smarter decisions by turning complex SDLC data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Improves visibility – Provides a real-time, unified view of software delivery across teams and tools

  • Reduces risk – Identifies potential issues early with AI-driven risk scoring and trend analysis

  • Accelerates decision-making – Delivers executive-ready insights without the need for manual reporting

  • Simplifies access to data – Enables natural language queries, making insights accessible to both technical and business users

  • Builds trust and consistency – Operates within defined AI safety and governance standards

Flora ultimately transforms software delivery data into a strategic asset—helping teams move from reactive reporting to proactive, data-driven execution.

@ Prompting For Refined Object Tagging

Type @ in the input or click the @ icon in the toolbar to tag Bloomfilter objects directly in your message. Flora uses the tagged object as explicit context, so you can ask questions like "What's the cycle time trend for @Team Phoenix?" without ambiguity.

Supported Object Types

Portfolios, Teams, Boards, Goals, Outcomes, Initiatives, Epics, and Sprints

Features

  • A popover appears as you type after @, filtered by your search query and organized by object type.

  • Selected objects appear as removable mention pills above the input box for clarity.

  • On submission, the human-readable [@Name] syntax is replaced with a structured reference that Flora's backend can resolve.

  • Object tagging is behind the FloraObjectTagging feature flag and activates automatically when enabled for your organization.

Tips for Getting the Best Results with Flora

  • Keep conversations short and focused Flora works best with concise interactions. After getting your initial results, you can ask one-2 follow-up questions—but for the most accurate insights, it’s often better to start a new chat.

  • Start fresh for better insights Beginning a new chat with a clear, specific question helps Flora deliver more meaningful and relevant analysis.

  • Be specific with what you’re analyzing Use the @ symbol in your prompt to quickly reference specific Projects, Boards, Teams, Work Periods, or Initiatives.

  • If something isn’t found or you see an error Try these quick steps:

    1. Make sure you’re in the correct portfolio (Master or your team’s portfolio)

    2. Start a new chat and re-enter your question to avoid any carryover from a previous conversation

    3. Use @ to reference the exact item you’re looking for

    4. If Flora still can’t find it, try typing the item using this format: [Work Item Type + Name]
